Alain Passard
is a French chef born August 4, 1956
La Guerche-de-Bretagne. He began his career at the age of 14, and 26, he became the youngest award-winning chef
two stars. In 1984, he came to Carlton restaurant in Brussels and in the following two years, managed to win two stars.
In 1986, he bought the restaurant from his former mentor Alain Senderens L'Archestrate (three stars), and renamed L'Arpege.
It only need one year to win his first star, and a year older for the second. In 1996, L'Arpege gets its third Michelin star.
In 2001, he removes the red meat its menu focuses on vegetables. In 2010, he received a "nugget" at the Globes ceremony
crystal for his participation to the influence of French culture.
